To provide professional career counseling services to students a by guiding them in identifying their interests, strengths, and career goals, and supporting their educational and professional development.
Provide one-on-one or group career counseling sessions to students.
Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and informational sessions related to career planning, college applications, resume writing, interview skills, etc.
Conduct assessments (interest inventories, personality tests, etc.) and interpret results to help individuals make informed career choices.
Guide graduating students in exploring higher education and job opportunities.
Maintain and update resources related to colleges, scholarships, internships, and careers.
Assist individuals in developing personal development and career action plans.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other departments as needed.
Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and progress.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Social Work, or a related field.
Additional certification or training in career counseling or coaching is a strong advantage (e.g., GCDF – Global Career Development Facilitator).
Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience in career counseling, education, human resources, or a related area.
Experience working with students, young adults, or professionals in a counseling or advisory capacity is preferred.
Strong active listening, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office and career planning software/tools, if any).
